Seven sliders and a toggle. Each looks like a tuning knob; each is a doorway into forty years of research, film history, and physics that wasn't supposed to be there. One honest caveat from the curator: this implementation contains additions beyond the classical lineage whose provenance hasn't been fully mapped yet — even the lab doesn't know where everything came from. What follows is the ancestry that is certain.
Each bird obeys three rules: steer away from crowding (separation), match its neighbours’ heading (alignment), and drift toward their centre (cohesion). Nothing tells them to form a flock — that’s what emerges.
